MFL Update
We are pleased and proud to communicate that the MFL departments at Excel and Discovery Academy are now working as partner schools with the Trent and Tame Language Hub led by Painsley Catholic College and the Arthur Terry School.

The Animal Man visits…
The Animal Man visited the academy yesterday as a reward for the SEN students for their hard work this year. The students met a Scops Owl, a Royal Python, an albino Leopard Gecko, some hissing cockroaches and a very sleepy Skunk. It was a fantastic opportunity to get up close to these wonderful creatures.
The Queen’s Green Canopy
The Queen’s Green Canopy (QGC) was a unique nationwide tree planting initiative created to mark Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022. Today we have planted a Rowan tree as part of the QGC. Our Head Boy and Head Girl did the honours. #proudtobeexcel
